Level 7 Dermal Fillers Certificate or Diploma?

Depth in one procedure, or breadth across the qualification

Both qualifications sit at Level 7, but they are not the same size. Knowing the difference saves you from enrolling on the wrong one.

What a certificate is

The dermal fillers certificate studies one procedure closely. You cover facial anatomy and assessment, client consultation, treatment planning and safe practice, all through the lens of that one procedure.

What a diploma adds

A diploma covers more learning at the same level. The Level 7 diploma in non-surgical aesthetic procedures is the wider qualification, and it goes beyond any single certificate.

Entry for the diploma

The diploma asks for a recognised Level 5 qualification in non-surgical aesthetic practice, or equivalent, plus a suitable Level 3 certificate in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis. The certificate also expects relevant prior experience.

How to decide

If you want to focus on one procedure, the certificate is the direct choice. If you want the broadest Level 7 qualification, ask about the diploma. Message us with what you hold and we will point you to the right one.
